Smallest dual 10-bit precision DAC

Maxim's new MAX5547 10-bit, SPI, dual, current-sink digital-to-analog converter (DAC) measures only 3 x 3 mm in a TDFN package. This device integrates a precision 4 pppm/°C bandgap reference, operates from a single +2,7 to +5,25 V supply, and is also highly accurate (±4 LSB at 1,2 mA). The manufacturer guarantees monotonicity over -40 to +85°C the temperature range. The current-sink operation of this DAC makes it ideal for laser-driver control applications. The MAX5547 settles to within 1 LSB of full scale in 10 μs (typ). The full-scale output sink-current range is software selectable from 0 to 1,2 mA or 0 to 3,6 mA, and is independent for each DAC.
