Antenova has expanded its embedded cellular portfolio with Aurata SR4L112, a passive FR4 surface-mount antenna designed for direct soldering onto the host PCB. Aurata supports key global 4G/LTE cellular bands, including LTE 700, GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900, WCDMA2100, LTE B7 (2500 – 2690 MHz), and LTE B40 (2300 – 2400 MHz), helping engineers address demanding cellular, LPWA, and NB-IoT deployments from a single compact antenna platform.
Measuring just 28 x 10 x 3,3 mm, it delivers robust RF performance in a highly compact SMD form factor, with minimal keep-out area for space-constrained IoT, consumer, industrial, handheld, telematics, and smart metering designs. For optimum performance, the antenna is positioned on the short edge of the PCB with clearance in five spatial directions; no ground plane is required on either side of the antenna, simplifying layout decisions and supporting faster integration.Engineered to maintain high efficiency
4G/LTE performance across the following operating bands:
• 698 – 960 MHz (67%)
• 1710 – 2170 MHz (66%)
• 2300 – 2400 MHz (57%)
• 2500 – 2700 MHz (68%)
Aurata is supplied in tape-and-reel packaging to support automated pick-and-place SMT assembly, enabling repeatable integration and efficient scaling from prototype builds through high-volume production.
