Power relay range more versatile with AC coil version

Now available from Tyco Electronics is the T9C AC coil power relay, offering enhanced versatility for applications such as HVAC, power supplies, domestic appliances and measurement and control. The device complements the existing T9A series from Tyco, which is currently only available with a DC coil.

Utilising 1,2 VA (VDE approved) or 1,6 VA (UL/CSA recognised) AC coils, the single-pole flange-mount T9C AC coil relay is rated at 20 A N/O and 10 A N/C and features either a 1N/O or 1C/O cadmium-free contact. Further technical details include an operating temperature range from -40 up to +70°C, 250 V a.c. rated voltage, a maximum breaking capacity of 5000 VA and a mechanical life expectancy of 5 million cycles.

The T9C AC coil relay is fully RoHS-compliant.
