The cascaded routing of Rittal's cable anchor system permits structured cable management in network enclosures. As of now, the time-consuming work caused by unstructured cable management in network and server enclosures can end, claims the company.
Rittal has unveiled a new cable anchoring system, the single and quadruple elements of which can be used for cable routing on enclosure frames and within the 48,6 mm (19") mounting level. A number of cable anchors can be combined to form an entire system, with two elements connected to one another via a locking piece in each case. The cables are bundled together in channels to form functional units. Within the individual routing chambers, it is possible to access individual cable harnesses selectively, so that the corresponding cable groups can be worked on. This way, each routing element can be individually manoeuvred, though without influencing the way the remaining cables are routed.
