Cost-effective range of enclosures to challenge the market

Elquip Solutions, a Johannesburg-based supplier of electrical, automation, mechanical and consumable products is launching the innovative 'affordable' Cemar range of enclosures into the South African market. This is according to Mike Cronin, manager and owner of Elquip Solutions.

"We saw the need for our customers to have high quality but affordable enclosures. We are very pleased to have sourced and be able to introduce the Cemar range to the South African market," says Cronin. "This range of enclosures and panels can be used in a variety of installations such as: automation systems; distribution boxes, machine and engine controls. We would recommend them for installations across industrial and commercial applications; and they are ideal for visible installations in warehouses and industry."

"This is an extremely affordable option that does not compromise on standards," he adds. "The enclosures are of an excellent quality, ensuring high standards of protection; which in turn facilitates effective operation of the electronic equipment. They also meet all current industry standards regarding safety and quality."

The control panels are built in SAE 1008 steel plate. The set is made up of a box, mounting plate, and flange; and they have additional 15° folds and rubber edging which protect them against water and dust penetration.

Comments Gustav Verster, Elquip Solutions technical sales manager: "The Cemar range comes with a protection rating of IP54 IK10 and was developed, tested and approved in accordance with NBR IEC 62208 requirements. The enclosures receive anti-corrosive chemical treatment (degreasing, deoxidation and phosphatising with zinc phosphate) and receive a distinctive orange electrostatic epoxy coating."
