The Vario-Box is a case system from OKW that has many variations. Different component parts can be assembled to form wall-mounting systems as well as table-top units.

The Vario-Box can be supplied as a complete standard assembly kit or in component parts.

This is a case system suited for a multitude of applications, for example in plant engineering as control or measuring devices, 19" technologies, in heating and airconditioning technology, etc.

Advantages include: rear panel with/without terminal compartment; large terminal compartment is easily accessible, also suitable for deeper terminals; easy assembly of component parts; combinations with long frame allow 19" installations (due to the card guide which can be snapped in easily, no additional equipment sections are required.); the raised front frame protects the operating elements; has ergonomically tilted position due to handle bar and tilt feet; wall-suspension element allows the case to be fixed to the wall when closed.

The Vario-Box is rated for: IP54 for combinations with front panel; IP64 when used in combination with front frame or frame cover; and IP65 when used in combination with cover.
