Low power digital temperature sensor

Dallas Semiconductor's DS75LV is a digital temperature-sensor that operates from a low 1,7 V to 3,7 V supply-voltage range. The DS75LV is factory-calibrated to an accuracy of ±2,0°C (max) over its entire voltage-supply range and a wide -25 to 100°C temperature range. It is ±3,0°C (max) accurate over its full -55 to 125°C operating-temperature range. The DS75LV thermometer provides user-selectable 9/10/11/12-bit digital temperature readings that translate to resolutions between 0,5°C (9-bit) and 0,0625°C (12-bit). A thermostat functionality with user-defined trip points allows the user to customise threshold temperatures and output hysteresis. For power-sensitive applications, the device offers a low-power shutdown mode that reduces current draw to under 2 μA. Communication is via a standard two-wire (I²C) serial interface. The device is available in an 8-pin SO or microSOP (microMAX) lead-free package.
