Dow-Key Microwave is offering a compact SPDT PCB mount switch. The 409 series unit, which can be mounted directly on an electronic board, is intended for military, ATE and commercial applications that require higher power handling and greater resistance to severe environmental conditions than is offered by typical PCB mount switches. It occupies only 310 mm² of PCB area to meet high-density mounting requirements.
A high-quality alternative to solid state devices, the robust 409 operates at a frequency range of DC-3,0 GHz. Featuring a laser weld hermetic seal, it is also resistant to high shock and vibration instances that can occur with various military applications.
The latching SPDT switch weighs 29 g and has a minimum life of one million cycles. Operating temperatures range from -30-70°C.
