Compact switch for 5G applications

29 June 2026 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

The Qorvo QPC6188 is a high-performance absorptive SP4T RF switch designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern wireless infrastructure and high-frequency communication systems. Manufactured using advanced Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) process technology, the device delivers exceptional RF performance across an ultra-wide frequency range from 50 MHz to 8,6 GHz.

Optimised for applications including 5G, 4G/LTE, small cells, wireless infrastructure, drones, and test equipment, the QPC6188 provides low insertion loss of just 0,73 dB to 2 dB, helping to maximise signal integrity, while minimising power loss. High isolation performance of up to 63 dB further enhances signal routing efficiency, reducing interference between channels in complex RF systems.

The switch offers excellent linearity with an IIP3 rating of up to 60 dBm and can handle RF input power levels of up to 30 dBm in the ON state. Fast switching speeds of just 200 ns make it suitable for applications requiring rapid signal path selection and high system responsiveness.

Supporting industry-standard 1,2 V, 1,5 V, and 1,8 V control logic levels, the QPC6188 simplifies integration into a wide range of designs.
