Avago Technologies has expanded its high performance ultra miniature incremental encoder family with the AEDA-3200-Txx Encoder Module (2500-7500 CPR resolution), which features simple plug-and-play alignment. The AEDA-3300-xxx Encoder Kit (600-20 000 CPR resolution) requires no alignment.

The innovative 'one-size-fits-all' kit and module offer solutions for incremental encoding. The AEDA-3200 module is designed for high resolution, high operating frequency and robust temperature applications, complete with code-wheel, sensor and integrated bearing. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40 to

125°C.

Markets and applications include motor manufacturers, encoder manufacturers, system integrators, industrial equipment, pick-and-place, wire bonding machines, cutting/machining, fluid control, surveillance, automobile manufacturing, robotics, medical prosthetics, bionics and surgical tools and machines.
