IEI recently launched its latest 8,4" (21,3 cm) panel PC with an x86 architecture allowing it to run Windows XP Embedded. The AFL08-500/256MB has an AMD processor running at 500 MHz (LX-800) and it is also completely fanless. This AMD processor has an extremely low power consumption of only 6 W yet is still powerful enough to run Windows XP Embedded.
The AFL08-500/256MB has an 8,4" LCD, which is also touch-sensitive. This makes it an ideal solution for car navigation, factory HMIs or POS systems. This product is also available in a 30,7 cm version.
