Panasonic's EZAEG series is a line of ESD suppressors suitable for suppressing ESD noise in a high-speed signal line, including HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface).
As data lines of digital home-appliances or PC peripherals have become faster year after year, measures against ESD noise in high-speed signal lines (GHz-band) including HDMI, USB2.0, IEEE1394, have become more important. Under these conditions, the EZAEG series of ESD suppressors deliver superior transmission quality with low capacitance. In 1005 size, the capacitance is only 0,05 pF, believed to be the lowest in the industry, and in 1608 size the capacitance is 0,1 pF. The devices also suppress static-electricity to 8 kV.
