Panasonic offers the industry's first push-on switch with an open centre space. This switch widens the choice of LEDs to meet demands for a wider variety of centre illumination design of control buttons for automotive equipment, such as for car audio systems and heater control panels.
The open centre space allows a free choice of LEDs. Up to a 4,2 mm diameter chip LED can be mounted. Providing a crisp tactile feedback, the long stroke (1 mm) pushbutton measures 9,8 x 10,15 mm and is 4,6 mm high.
The switch is rated 10 μA, 2 V d.c. to 50 mA, 12 V d.c. Operating temperature range is -40 to 85°C.
