Phoenix Contact's new family of spring cage terminals, the SPT 1.5 and SPT 2.5, meets the requirements of modern PCB connection technology. It offers a large connection space with 1,5 mm² in 3,5 mm pitch and 2,5 mm² in 5,0 mm pitch, while maintaining compact dimensions and an installation height of approximately 14,5 mm. Combined with the user-friendly direct plug technology Combi Spring, it is well-suited for convenient field wiring for devices.
With a capacity of 160 V/17,5 A in 3,5 mm pitch and 250 V/24 A in 5,00 mm pitch, this spring cage terminal can be used in classic measurement and control systems as well as in small power supplies. Its compact dimensions take account of the increasing trend towards miniaturisation.
The modular design allows a combination of the different pitches, thus increasing flexibility for product design. The terminal is available with both a horizontal and a vertical direction of wire connection.
