SPDT analog audio switch as low resistance

austriamicrosystems has expanded its analog switch portfolio with the AS1746: a SPDT low-voltage dual analog signal switch that features superior low on-resistance with a maximum of 0,5 Ω for the N/C line and a maximum of 0,6 Ω for the N/O line, over the temperature range of -40 to +85°C. Channel-to-channel matching is less then 0,06 Ω, minimising the signal deviations between switched channels, while on-resistance flatness of 0,15 Ω guarantees a stable on-resistance over temperature or supply voltage variations. Altogether this improves the total harmonic distortion (THD+N) to 0,025%. A bandwidth of 160 MHz makes the device ideal for data and audio signals. It operates over 1,8 V to 5,5 V and all digital logic inputs are 1,8 V CMOS compatible. The AS1746 comes in a 10-pin TDFN as well as in a 10-bump WL-CSP package.
