J&D of Korea, an ISO9001 company, is a manufacturer of current transformers for various applications. J&D is represented by Hillcor Holdings in South Africa and supported by E&BC Agencies.
The company has introduced a range of zero-phase current transformers for applications in: earth leakage (ELCB) ground fault interrupters; extreme low-current monitoring; and leakage current uses. The range of four basic types cover the 30 A to 120 A range with current ranges of 3 mA to 3/5/10 A. The turns ratio is 1000T/1.
J&D also offers a full range of current transformers from 0,1 class 1 mA to 500 A on selected products. Most comply to IEC62053-21 and are available in leaded or PCB mount. The company has the capability to custom-design in certain product areas.
Also available is a range of current transformers from 0,2 class - ideally suited for today's prepaid electricity meters. These current transformers are available from 5 A to 400 A with a current range of 1 mA/70 A through to 100 mA/300 A.
The high specifications on the company's product lines can enhance the design of power measurement, energy metering and calibration products.
