With space and weight becoming a critical element in the design of cabling infrastructure, the Double Density range from Deutsch has been specifically designed to address this issue and take into consideration the growing demand for more data lines in a compact harsh environment.
Close to twice the density of contacts per single connector housing than standard D38999 connectors, the increased density allows design engineers much more scope in design flexibility when considering equipment requirements and cable infrastructure.
Complying with Mil-DTL-D38999, the threaded coupling has a self-locking mechanism, and four shell sizes are available with 11 to 64 contacts. The crimp contacts are removable, and the interface is 100% scoop-proof interface.
The D38999 Series 3 - Double Density connector complies with: the Civil Aviation Authority A8-1; BS EN ISO 9001; Military Spec Approvals 38999; BS9000 and CECC; and UL.
