Hirose's DF17 series board-to-board connector, on a 0,5 mm pitch, achieves stacking heights of between 5-8 mm (in 1 mm increments). Contact arrangement is from 20 to 80 contacts (in 10 contact increments). Both the male and female are available with fittings, used for added strength once soldered to the PCB, as well as guide posts for base locating. An audible click signals that the connector is fully engaged.
