Piezoelectric horn siren

4 April 2007 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Sonitron's SAS-2835 is a small piezoelectric horn siren with high sound pressure (110 dB @ 1 m), low weight (36 g) and low current consumption (120 mA @12 V d.c.). The sound is described as a 'very clear and aggressive warning signal' (hear a sound sample at www.sonitron.be/Media/SW515C.mp3).

Sonitron gives many applications for this siren: fire alarms, cars and motor vehicles, automation equipment, security devices, etc.

The Sonitron-developed vibrating elements are unique and patented. This series is made from high quality materials, is IP67 rated, and offers extreme reliability and robustness according to the manufacturer. It features a lifetime over 2000 hours in continuous use.

Fast-On, pin and wire type terminations are available.
