Advanced TCA and Micro TCA systems survive earthquake tests

For AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA systems, some users demand shock, vibration and earth quake tests. Schroff's AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA systems are therefore fully tested and certified in an independent laboratory in accordance with the IEC60068-2-6 (vibration tests), IEC60068-2-27 (shock resistance tests) and IEC60068-2-57 (swing tests with time laps processes) standards.
A 14 Slot AdvancedTCA system assembled with AdvancedMC carriers, AdvancedMC modules of varying dimensions, and two AdvancedTCA Shelf Managers was tested. The 14 Slot-MicroTCA systems tested were assembled with 12 AdvancedMC modules and two Filler modules (blank panels).
Furthermore, the AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA systems from Schroff fulfil demands for temperature control and EMC. The carefully-designed cooling concepts provide consistent cooling of installed components, even during failure of a fan.
