Maintenance-free Peltier enclosure coolers

Elen Enclosures has widened its program of enclosure and cabinet cooling accessories by adding the Ecold TCU range of thermo-electric (Peltier element) coolers/airconditioners. The supply programme comprises four models - the TCU 50, TCU 100, TCU 200 and TCU 300 with rated cooling powers of 50, 100, 200 and 300 W.

The coolers are maintenance free, extremely compact and easy to install. The 50 and 100 W units measure only 320 mm high, 160 mm wide and 188 mm deep and protrude only 88 mm into the enclosure. The 200 and 300 W units maintain the same height and depth and the width is 320 and 448 mm. The thermo-electric coolers can operate in any position and are insensitive to vibrations. IP 55 rated models are suitable for outdoor installation.

The coolers operate from 24 V d.c. power supply (other DC supply voltages are optional). Accessories include thermostats and digital temperature controllers. Reversible versions capable of cooling and heating are available on request.
