Sarel PC cabinets have been specifically designed for protection of personal computers used in industrial applications. The cabinets are rated IP55: low pressure hose water- and dust-proof when closed.
These cabinets are available either in powder coated steel or 304L/316L stainless steel. Sizes are 1600 x 600 x 600/800 mm or 1800 x 600 x 600/800 mm (HxWxD), all with lockable front and rear doors. Access is 'tamper-proof' as the side covers and roof can be removed only from inside.
The 1600 mm high versions have three compartments. The top compartment will accommodate either a 14" or 17" monitor on an adjustable shelf. The mid-compartment is fitted with a latching keyboard shelf with a sliding mouse pad which is suitable for right- or left-handed persons. The bottom compartment can accommodate tower-type PCs, hubs, UPS and other accessories.
The 1800 mm high version has four compartments. The additional compartment is situated above the keyboard/mouse pad section and is used either for a desktop type PC (CPU), hub, documentation, etc.
The PC cabinets can be easily and quickly integrated into suites of cabinets, either side-by-side or back-to-back with other Sarel Series 6000 cabinets.
