The management of local networks that enable the transmission of data, voice and images is today a key factor in the growth and durability of every business. In fact, the current development of telecoms, video-conference, multimedia services, IT networks, etc, make the use of a structured cabling system (that can support all ones communication needs, indispensable).
Sarel thus offers a wide range of racks and enclosures (VDI cabinets: Voice/Video Data Interchange) that cover the small installation (10 to 50 connection points), medium-sized installations (100 to 1000 connection points) and large third party and industrial installations (over 1000 points). This range has been developed to respond to the multiple applications of circulation, telecoms, IT, servers, etc.
The new CaSys.Cabling standard rack system is designed for mixing applications with switches and routers and is available in six usable heights of 24U/1200 mm, 29U/1400 mm, 33U/1600 mm, 38U/1800 mm, 42U/2000 mm and 47U/ 2200 mm, either 600 or 800 mm wide. Depths are 600, 800 or 1000 mm, permissible static load is 400 kg, and forming of the cabinet suites is said to be quick and easy.
These new rack cabinets respond well to all types of installations and applications thanks to the multiple central and side cable entries. The cable entries are flush to the structure and make the cabling and day to day maintenance of installations easier. The racks are supplied with the patented 'Easy Cable Access' side entry points which allow the strands to be prepared before the rack is installed. Cable entry management is further enhanced by ready cut-out rear cable passage areas at the bottom, a wide opening on the roof, offset towards the rear and fitted with a removable plate and open bottom entry which can be closed by optional gland plate.
Cladding (doors, side and rear panels) can be rapidly assembled and removed. Only one person is needed to remove and reassemble the cladding elements. Levelling feet are adjustable from the inside. The panel latches may be fitted with a key locking system if security is an issue.
For aesthetics they are offered in two 2-tone variations - either RAL 7035 cladding with RAL 7011 grey frame or RAL 7011 black cladding and RAL 7011 grey frame. A new fascia with rounded shape adds character to the appearance.
The range of accessories include depth-adjustable 19" frames, plinths, side and rear panels with or without vents, fan trays, cable management accessories, fixed and telescopic shelves, castor wheels, anti-vibration mounts and a range of filter fans and airconditioners, etc.
