Actum Electronics recently announced that it is expanding into the supply and distribution of RF coaxial cable and connectors. The initial focus of this division is the supply of the RG range of cable and the coaxial connectors. The range of connectors includes the complete range of RF connectors, crimping tools and adaptor kits.
The cables, with characteristic impedance ranging from 50 to 75 Ω, are insulated with polyethylene and sheathed with poly-vinyl chloride. These cables can be used for radio-frequency apparatus for connection, internal wiring, feeders, radio closed-circuit TV systems, shipbuilding industries and many other types of data-transmitting equipment. All cable complies to Mil-C-17 standards.
Nicholas Sibanda has joined the Actum team to spearhead this new division. He has in excess of 14 years experience in the RF industry.
