For selective soldering of through-hole components on PC boards, Novastar offers its models SP A250 and SP A400, featuring Windows-based software for quick and easy programming.
The systems allow for single and multipoint soldering of PGAs, connectors, ICs, large components and more, and a large selection of nozzles is available for all component shapes and sizes. Nitrogen is used as the atmosphere profile.
The on-board controller with touch screen regulates a number of features such as spray fluxing, preheating, nitrogen flow, solder temperature, solder duration, wave height, closed loop feedback via digital encoders, auto start/stop timer, password protection, x-, y- and z-axes, as well as a 7-day timer.
Optional extras include an IR quick preheater, dual fluxer/dual nozzle, sliding loading/unloading feature, additional solder pot assembly, quick change pot trolley, pallet holding fixture and microdrop fluxer.
