Fischer Elektronik is now offering one- and two-row high-precision male headers with 2,54 mm grid spacing in surface-mount design, with options for automatic assembly and bar magazine formats. By means of pick-and-place pads, the headers can automatically be placed onto a PCB by applying a vacuum; after soldering, the pick-and-place pads can be removed.
The one-row design is offered with four to 20 contacts and the two-row design with four to 40 contacts, with other contact quantities also available on request. The insulators and pick-and-place pads are made from reflow-solderable high-temperature resistant plastics in conformity with RoHS. The contacts are either available with a gold-plated or tin surface, also to RoHS compliance.
