Hospitals and various other medical institutions rely on accurate and clear information supplied to them via the high tech equipment used to measure heart rate, blood pressure etc. Often the signals sent from the monitor to the actual screen need a 'boost' to ensure a clear image. To accomplish this, these institutions can make use of DVI repeaters such as the DVR-101 from Smart View.
This repeater corrects the digital video signal degradation that occurs beyond 5 metres of DVI cable. It is simply connected to the end of a DVI cable on one side and to the display's cable on the other side. It can extend the DVI signal for up to 15 metres and supports both DVI and HDCP.
