Expanded voltage range for high grade capacitors

Kemet has announced the release of 35 V and 50 V offerings for its T497 High Grade COTS Series. Previously limited to maximum voltage ratings of 25 V, the release of these higher voltage ratings offer designers more component options in higher voltage applications where space restrictions and reliability are of great importance. The T497 product was developed using conservative design characteristics, resulting in a very robust capacitor demonstrating low leakage current capabilities. It fits a demand for extended safety considerations in non-standard case dimensions and is ideal for high end industrial power supplies, military designs, portable communication systems and other critical filtering and decoupling applications. In addition, this series is low profile and offers case heights of 1,27 mm for case sizes A through D. Capacitances range from 0,1 μF to 33 μF.
