New coaxial contacts use hyperbolic design

Ingun has released new coaxial contacts based on an innovative design using hyperbolically positioned contact (signal) wires and outer (ground) contacts of the socket, which lay against the pin in strips a complete 360° around the contact. These are available in both male and female formats with designations KT-375 HFS-HB-V and KT-375 HFS-HS-V respectively.

The advantages of this type of connection include extremely low insertion and extraction forces, long life due to very little contact wear, stable electrical performance and high shock and vibration tolerance.
