Murrelektronik offers a variety of M12 connectors to suit the needs of many industrial applications, with a robust M12 Standard range, the MQ12 quick-connection system and the M12 Steel, specially designed for the requirements of the food and beverage industry.
The M12 standard range is rugged and designed for demanding industrial environments. Its knurled surface makes manual assembly possible. An audible click indicates clearly that the recommended tightening torque is reached and the connection is tight and secure.
The MQ12 quick-connection system is compatible with standard sensors and requires only a quarter turn to lock, saving considerable installation time compared to conventional connection systems. A visual mark shows that the connector is seated precisely in order to provide IP67 protection. This system is available for male and female, straight or angled, with open lead ends, as connecting cable and for field assembly.
The M12 Steel provides a plug in a V4A stainless steel housing, which contributes to hygiene and cleanliness in machines and installations. The M12 Steel meets IP68 and IP69K protection ratings, can be washed down with acidic and caustic cleaning agents and is corrosion resistant. There is a choice of cables between PVC and food-safe TPE-S plastic. Configurations are available with female connectors that can be terminated in the field, with open-ended wires and with cables in lengths of 1,5 through 50 metres.
