This type of application calls for subrack solutions with high mechanical stability. Ripac Solid from Rittal is a new development designed specifically for this kind of situation. Highly torsion-resistant rails with double screw fastenings on the end faces guarantee high mechanical stability.
Ripac Solid was designed precisely in accordance with IEC 60297-3-101-102-103 (19-inch mechanical system) and has passed tests and inspections in accordance with DIN EN/IEC 61587-1 (mechanical load test) and DIN EN 50155 (IEC 61373, International Electrotechnical Commission, 'railway applications - electronic rolling stock equipment'). The range is supplemented by a large selection of accessories from the Ripac Modular Toolkit.
The RoHs-compliant 19-inch subrack is available in 3 U and 6 U versions with a depth of 245 mm. The side panels are made of passivated 2,5 mm thick aluminium and the horizontal rails are constructed from passivated extruded aluminium section.
