Legrand's easy to use Memocab cable marking system has been enhanced to offer quicker, secure and more reliable marking of cables.
"Two markers may now be simultaneously prepared in advance off-site, offering time savings," says national sales manager, Timothy Mountjoy. "The new double prong removes two markers at the same time and installs them at once onto double pre-cut marker holders.
Markers can also be organised in strips of 48 on a new dispenser board. This system facilitates easy portability to site, reduces loss or damage to markers prior to installation and enables the direct preparation of a list of markers on the tray before marking them up.
The original and modernised Memocab marking systems are fully compatible. Carrier strips are colour coded for easy identification and accurate matching of markers. These markers are rectangular based for optimum alignment in the carrier. Once they have been installed, they are securely fastened and will not fall off the cable as a result of vibration or movement. These carriers also offer protection to markers, even in the most demanding environments.
