ECD has developed an innovative thermal profiling system. Using only four 'nano-connectors', the MEGAM.O.L.E. 20 Profiler offers a full 20 channels, claimed to be the most of any travelling profiler in the reflow industry, and has the capacity for over 25 runs before downloading data. At only 7,2 mm, this profiler is especially beneficial when faced with significant physical constraints of nitrogen curtains, and when profiling smaller boards such as cellphones.
Even with its ability to present complex data, the system MEGAM.O.L.E. 20 provides ease of programming with three workflow Wizards for set-up and M.O.L.E.-Readiness Indicators to avoid wasted runs. A clear 'Go' or 'No-go' feature indicates to the operator whether all elements of the run are within pre-programmed parameters.
Fully PC compatible and graphically intuitive, the MEGAM.O.L.E. 20's new MAP software targets ramp, soak, time above liquidus and peak segments of the run, and provides a single-page colour-coded data summary. It also runs seamlessly with ECD's existing SuperM.O.L.E. Gold Profiler, eliminating the need to replace hardware for those users satisfied with six channels.
