Advantech's ADAM-4018M is a 16-bit, eight-channel analog input data logger for industrial measurement and monitoring applications, featuring programmable input ranges on all channels. It has 128 KB Flash memory and can store up to 38 000 measurements for a maximum duration of 20 years.
The module can accept various analog inputs, such as thermocouple, millivolts, volts and milliamps, and offers three configurable logging modes: standard log, event log and mixed log. Optically isolated inputs provide 500 V d.c. of isolation between the module and the analog input, protecting the module and peripherals from damage due to high voltages on the input lines.
The module has six differential, two single ended channels, a watchdog timer, and a sampling interval from 2 seconds to 18 hours.
