Vishay's new PE60 is a power panel potentiometer featuring a 6 W power rating at 50°C. The device offers US and EU bushing threads in a fully sealed package, with a compact 25 mm diameter. Its cermet element is said to provide better stability than carbon elements, while its strong dielectric (2500 VRMS), and non-inductive design offer robustness in industrial and aeronautic control applications.
The potentiometers are available in resistances from 1 Ω to 1 MΩ at a standard tolerance of 20%, while 10% and 5% tolerances are also available. They have a 3% typical contact resistance variation and a 1% typical end resistance.
