The small size of the new Minitec range of cases from OKW makes it suitable for use on a lanyard, as a bracelet or with a wrist strap. They are small and light enough to fit comfortably in a trouser pocket, for example on a key ring, making them ideal enclosures for accessories for everyday use.
The Minitec cases are designed in three parts, and each consists of a top part, a bottom part as well as an intermediate ring. The latter not only accommodates the strap loops and eyelets for attaching the cases, but the TPE version also allows a pleasant touch sensation and at the same time serves as impact protection for the end device. Two location bases are fitted in the bottom part of the case for the installation of any necessary boards and components.
This range of small cases is available in two different basic versions: the Minitec E is available in the dimensions 52 x 32 x 15 mm or 68 x 43 x 18 mm (L x W x H), while the drop-shaped Minitec D has the dimensions 51 x 32 x 13 mm or 70 x 44 x 16 mm. The recessed operating area offers protection for membrane keyboards, operating and display elements – version E is alternatively available without recess.
The standard colours are off-white and a lava colour made of high-quality ABS as well as a black infrared-permeable PMMA (plexiglass). The TPE intermediate ring is available in four colour variants: volcano, orange, green and blue. The range of accessories is completed by a key ring with a diameter of 20,5 mm as well as different versions of high-quality necklaces/bracelets.
Among the many possible applications are remote control units in clinic and social areas as well as in households and in industry.
