Medimate Easy from Amphenol is a new series of circular connectors with integrated push-pull locking system.

Using a design optimised for easy cleaning and disinfection, the lightweight and robust plastic housing has been designed especially for compact medical applications, while it is also suitable for use in fields such as automation, test and measurement technology.

A user-friendly push-pull locking mechanism makes connection and disconnection quick and easy. Even under high vibration the connector stays safely locked in place. Intelligent colour marking combined with mechanical coding ensures safe and clear mating of the connector, even when under time pressure.

To satisfy different demands, a wide range of contact inserts from two up to 14 contacts is available for the same housing size. A rated voltage up to 500 V and a rated current up to 10 A are both possible. Novel solder contacts enable an extensive life-span with more than 3000 mating cycles.

Medimate Easy receptacles are designed for optional front or rear mounting. The cable connector and receptacle include incorporated strain relief and an optional cable support sleeve.
