Position sensor for harsh environments

Vishay has released a new single-turn, bushing-mount position sensor featuring Hall-effect technology for applications in harsh environments. The 351 HE offers all electrical angles up to 360° with no dead-band, linearity down to ±0,5 %, and durability greater than 10 million cycles.

The sensor features +20 V over-voltage protection and

-10 V reverse voltage protection and can withstand high-frequency vibrations up to 20 G and shocks up to 50 G. Supply voltage is 5 V ±10%, while typical supply current for analog loads is 10 mA, and 16 mA for PWM loads. Redundant output signals are available upon request.
