Power supplies offer good EMC performance

Designed to meet the power and EMC noise performance requirements in instrumentation, control and telecommunication systems, Astrodyne has developed the ECA Series of encapsulated switching power supplies for EMC noise compliance to EN 60601-1-2:2001. All models accept universal input from 90 to 264 V a.c. and 60 models are available that provide output power from 5 W to 15 W, with single and dual outputs from 5 Vd.c. to 24 V d.c.

The new units provide an economical power solution, and are pin-out and size compatible with more costly encapsulated modules. They operate over the ambient temperature range of 0°C to 50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain internal input filtering, over-voltage and short circuit protection circuitry. Dimensions are as small as 58 x 45 x 21 mm and all models are designed for Pin Mount PCB plug-in or Screw Terminal Chassis mounting.
