Tyco Electronics recently accorded TTI its title of UK and Ireland Distributor of the Year 2007. The award recognises TTI's outstanding design-in work with Tyco Electronics' products in 2007. "This is a well-deserved award for TTI, following an excellent year growing its sales of Tyco Electronics' products," comments Michael Finch, distribution manager UK & Ireland with Tyco Electronics. "TTI really actively promotes our components with its customers and has worked hard in bringing new design opportunities to Tyco Electronics, which started to reap reward in 2007," he adds.
John Sandy, European supplier marketing director connectors, relays and switches with TTI, is delighted with the award: "The award is a real recognition of our time and effort spent bringing Tyco Electronics' products to the engineering community," he says. TTI is very focused on new product introductions and Tyco Electronics is a big opportunity for the company. "We are highly focused on demand creation and generating new business with design-in projects for our suppliers," Sandy explains. "We have an ideal partnership with Tyco Electronics and the whole team is working really well together," Sandy concludes.
