Actum Electronics is currently recognised as one of South Africa’s leading distributors of electronic components. The business has been in operation for over 28 years and throughout this period, management has strived to maintain the highest levels of quality in its products and services.

The company currently represents several leading global manufacturers and suppliers, with the vast majority of its products being imported directly from Europe.

Actum's product offering includes a diverse range of components including:

* Connectors.

* Electronic enclosures.

* Coaxial connectors and cable.

* Heatsinks and extrusions.

* Crystals and oscillators.

* Relays.

* Fuses.

* Capacitors.

* Switches.

* EMI shielding products.

* ESD products.

Actum focuses on providing a high-quality product offering on an exclusive basis, having the sole South African distribution agreement with the majority of its suppliers, and offering a select product range from several other suppliers. The company's extensive list of suppliers includes Binder, Erni, Knitter Switch, KVG, Schroff and Souriau.

The company supplies a wide range of customers in the South African market, operating in various industries including the military, industrial, communications, mining and transport sectors.

Actum's stock policy is to hold stock for all items that are regular sellers. It also operates on a call-off order basis with its customers; this involves holding stock for specific customers on the back of a call-off order.
