With EAO’s customisable keypads, customers can specify the engraving that they need from a wide range of characters and symbols, including upper- and lower-case lettering, graphics and engineering characters – Roman and Greek – and superscripts and subscripts. Original graphics can also be introduced.
Where appropriate, metal keys can be marked using high-tech, computer-controlled laser engraving machines. These markings are effectively burnt into the keys so they are far more wear-resistant than conventional engraving. EAO also offers a conventional engraving service on plastic keys. LED illumination is available on certain products as an alternative to engraving.
From economical plastic keypads to vandal-resistant stainless steel units, EAO’s range of customisable products is suited to most applications, including payment terminals, access control, vending, help points, telephones and Internet/publicinformation terminals.
When customised, these keypads are ideal for the sophisticated interfaces required on modern self-service terminals where users need options like ‘Pay now’, ‘Enter PIN’, ‘www.’, ‘Home’ or ‘SOS’.
