High-inrush power relay

American Zettler has announced a new high-inrush version of its AZ762 relay with a rating of TV-5, 80 A at 125 V a.c. The isolation is 10 mm with a dielectric strength of 5000 VRMS, making this relay suitable for many HVAC and white goods applications where high inrush might pose a problem for other relays.
The AZ762 is a 16 A single-pole double-throw power relay in 130°C and 155°C versions with a typical mechanical lifespan of 10 million cycles. It is available with epoxy sealing for automatic wave soldering and washing, is RoHS compliant and has full UL/CUR/VDE approvals.
