Tough stainless steel switches

EAO is offering a range of industrial switches protected by stainless steel for increased reliability in harsh environments.

From the Series 04 and 14 ranges, customers can create illuminated pushbuttons, indicators and selector switches with stainless steel lenses, protective front rings and bezels. With ratings up to IP 67 and high operating temperature ranges, these switches are suitable for operation in very wet or dusty conditions.

These products are designed from the inside out for durability, strength and functionality, making them ideal for machinery control panels which must resist impact, air pollution and chemical washing. Switches from the Series 04 and 14 ranges can be flush-mounted for a flat-finished interface that is highly resistant to vandalism or harsh treatment and is simple to wipe down.

There is a choice of self-cleaning, snap-action switching elements with gold-plated silver contacts, or, for certain switches, silver/palladium contacts can be specified for particularly aggressive environments.

These switches products can be illuminated with LEDs that are resistant to shock/vibration and have low current consumption and heat dissipation. EAO can also laser engrave products with specific symbols and legends that will not wear off or corrode.
