Solderless terminals and splices

The new range of pre-insulated, solderless Euro-Crimp terminals and splices from Tyco Electronics provides reliable, low cost and easy terminations for wire sizes 0,5 to 6,0 mm² and is suited to meet the cost and performance requirements of a wide range of commercial applications.

These terminals and splices consist of precision formed metal wire barrel insulated with PVC and benefit from a continuous maximum operating temperature of 75°C. They are designed for single applications featuring solid or stranded wire. The insulation allows insertion of wires with a maximum voltage rating of 600 V, and the F crimp termination ensures lifelong performance.

The colour coded vinyl insulation by wire size enables easy identification. In addition, terminals are marked with the respective wire size range on the tongue. Serrations inside the wire barrel provide maximum contact and tensile strength after crimping. Terminals suitable for mounting accept stud sizes M3 through to M12.
