Host of new MCU family members

Luminary Micro has announced 30 new Stellaris family members, including integration of USB OTG and Host capability in the ARM Cortex-M3 architecture. Each new device ships with the Stellaris Peripheral Driver Library and Bootloader conveniently pre-programmed in ROM, and integrates the ARM PrimeCell 32-channel configurable μDMA controller, designed and specifically optimised by ARM for use with the Cortex-M3 processor and providing features such as advanced scatter/gather transfer modes. Amongst the new members are variants with CAN functionality and realtime ability, marking the family's strong focus on industrial applications requiring reliable connectivity. Also available are several evaluations kits and software tool suites.
