Range of loud alarm beacons
11 June 2008, Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Designed specifically for industrial, fire and marine applications, the products in Klaxon Signals' Nexus range of sounders and beacons have 64 tones and a wide range of high sound outputs and unique installation mechanisms.

The Nexus 120 is a high output, low current consumption sounder which offers the following features:

* High sound output of 120 dB(A) for areas with high background noise.

* Powerful 5 J xenon beacon.

* IP66 rated.

* Wide voltage range of 8 to 60 V and dual 110/230 V capability.

* Volume control for greater flexibility.

* Choice of colours.

* Three alarm stages.

Connections are made to the base during the initial wiring phase which results in faster and more reliable installation. In addition, the head clicks into place and is fixed by quarter turn fasteners, avoiding the need to screw on four individual screws and thus enabling fast installation and accurate seal compression for weatherproofing.
