Versatile handheld multimeters

25 June 2008 Test & Measurement

The IDM67 and IDM69 from ISO-Tech are compact, handheld multimeters with enhanced display resolution designed to meet IEC1010-1 (safety standard) category II 600 V with 10 A measuring capability.

The IDM67 offers a 3200 count LCD display with range annunciators, a 65 segment analog bar graph and a Display Hold function. It features a 0,2 ms continuity bleeper and measures AC and DC voltage and current, resistance, continuity and diode tests with auto-ranging voltage, ohms and continuity with manual override. The unit has a beep guard audible warning when current measurement and current ranges are not selected, and employs an auto-power-off feature to conserve battery life.

The IDM69 boasts an identical set of features, as well as offering 0,5% DC basic accuracy and improved accuracy on other ranges, and 3 μF, 30 μF, 300 μF and 3000 μF capacitance ranges.

Both instruments come supplied with a rugged rubber holster with convenient probe storage, a test lead set, two x AA batteries (fitted) and an instruction manual. They meet international safety requirements EN61010 and can be locally calibrated to meet the SANAS calibrations standard.
