Legrand manufactures a range of plastic cable glands, with an IP68 index protection rating for weatherproofing.
These polyamide cable glands, which are available in both PG and ISO configurations, can be mechanically tightened as an anti-vibration feature. Another important feature is the neoprene weatherproof seal which provides complete protection against dust and enables this component to operate efficiently in all weather conditions.
A special locking part, which comprises flexible blades that exert strong pressure on the cable, optimises the tensile strength of these units. Spring blades have a clamping capacity between 3 mm and 44 mm for PG cable glands and a clamping capacity between 3 mm and 38 mm for ISO cable glands.
