MicroCoax from Molex is a high-frequency micro-miniature RF connector in a high-density packaging, compatible with U.FL* connectors.
The space conscious design of the MicroCoax PCB jack and an ultra-low mated height of 2,5 mm make these connectors and assemblies ideally suited for applications where PCB real estate comes at a premium.
Molex MicroCoax connectors and cable assemblies are designed to deliver excellent performance at high frequencies in applications such as GPS equipments, wireless LAN, measurement equipment, Bluetooth devices and mobile phones.
Molex offers both standard and custom cable assemblies in different configurations to meet a multitude of interconnection requirements.
The Molex MicroCoax connector has a very low profile and works up to 6 GHz and is well suited for wireless radio applications. The cable plug is formed when it is terminated to the coaxial cable, thus is not sold separately. A variety of coaxial cable styles are available and complete cable assemblies can include many popular connectors on the opposite end, including SMA, BNC, TNC, MCX and MMCX.
